Licensed controller for Xbox featuring three connection modes, priced just slightly above the standard Microsoft gamepad, it offers features typical of significantly more expensive models. Sticks are based on GameSir's proprietary Mag-Res TMR technology — non-contact magnetic sensors that combine durability and drift protection with zero dead zone in the central position, critical for precise aiming in shooters. Triggers utilize Hall sensors with a switch between full analog travel and short click via an integrated micro switch.

Face buttons ABXY use optical micro-switches, and the D-pad is mechanical, with two interchangeable shapes included. The faceplate of the body consists of three magnetic sections and is replaceable without tools, compatible with panels from previous G7 series models. GameSir G7 Pro connects via wire to Xbox, through a 2.4GHz radio channel or USB to PC with a polling rate of 1000Hz, and to Android devices via Bluetooth. The built-in gyroscope functions only on the PC. There are four additional buttons (two mini bumpers and two lockable rear paddles) supporting macros and remapping. The package includes a charging dock with auto shut-off, a 1200mAh battery, a 3-meter braided cable, and a headphone jack.

Reasonable Price with Impressive Features

The GameSir G7 Pro belongs to the Pro category of gamepads and offers features typical of premium esports models. At the same time, the controller costs significantly less than the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 and many other top competitors.

The model supports three connection methods: wired, wireless, and Bluetooth. The gamepad is compatible with PCs, Android smartphones, and Xbox consoles. The package includes a charging dock and an additional D-pad. A three-piece magnetic faceplate expands personalization options. Users can change the controller's design and install removable modules from previous G7 series models.

Absolute Precision and Reliability

The professional status of the GameSir G7 Pro is highlighted by sticks with Mag-Res TMR sensors and Hall effect triggers. These components offer high precision, wear resistance, and no drift, which is especially important for precise aiming. An additional advantage of TMR technology is lower power consumption compared to classic Hall effect sensors.

The triggers feature two travel modes. You can choose an ultra-short press with a fast click or full analog travel for smooth control.

Gyroscope and Other Bonuses

The body features 17 buttons, including two rear paddles and a pair of mini bumpers. Commands can be programmed and macros created for these four controls.

Another feature is the 6-axis gyroscope, which lets you control movement, tilts, and turns in games by moving the controller. In the GameSir Nexus app for PC, the gyroscope can be configured to emulate mouse movements or the right stick.

The model's drawbacks include relatively short battery life—around 10 hours according to test results. There are also limitations when used with Xbox: the console can only be connected via cable, and the gyroscope does not work. Despite this, the GameSir G7 Pro remains a capable esports gamepad with an attractive balance of price and features.
