A relatively affordable and compact microATX motherboard for AMD AM4 processors based on the Zen and Zen 2 microarchitectures. The manufacturer claims full compatibility with a wide range of AMD Ryzen 3/5/7/9 processors of three generations (based on Matisse/Pinnacle Ridge/Summit Ridge cores), APU with integrated Radeon Vega (Raven Ridge/Picasso), and budget Athlon Zen CPUs (Raven Ridge).
It is positioned as an accessible mid-range product, aimed at use in multipurpose home systems, powerful office PCs, and basic workstations. The ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 motherboard is equipped with a 6-phase CPU power subsystem converter based on high-quality DrMOS assemblies. Thanks to the availability of 2 DIMM slots for installing DDR4 modules, the total amount of RAM can reach 32 GB, which is sufficient for any casual and most professional tasks.
It supports the connection of one high-performance SSD drive with an M.2 Socket 3 slot in full-speed PCIe 3.0 4x mode. Additionally, there are 4 ports for SATA3 devices. The Gigabit network controller Realtek RTL8111H ensures fast data transfer over a wired network with minimal latency. There are 9 USB ports, including 5 high-speed USB 3.2 Gen1 (1xType-C). The board is equipped with three interface connectors to connect any current monitor models (up to 4K included).

A good motherboard for its price (bought it before the dollar rise) I've been using the ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 for about 6 months. Good quality for your money. 4-pin power, meaning it can work with old power supplies (I initially used it with a 9-year-old PSU while saving for a new Be Quiet power unit). The B450 chipset is great for CPU overclocking. Not particularly new, but promising socket AM4. 2 slots for RAM is not really a disadvantage, especially for such a price, but still, one should not forget about this (if anything, there is a PRO version with 4 RAM slots). Perhaps, for someone the lack of RGB lighting will be a drawback, but for this price, you're asking for too much. Therefore, it can be said that there are no downsides. for that price of 900 UAH, this is a very good motherboard, what can I say a simple motherboard on an am4 socket, it pulls ryzen 5 1600hda and I think ryzen 5 2600 will pull price 2 RAM slots (but for this price it's not a problem) |

The chipset allows it, but there was no need to overclock the CPU yet, and it is unlikely to be needed.
The model itself is already old and budget-friendly, so there's no ARGB connector and integrated Wi-Fi module here, which is logical.
For home PC needs of the office/school class without a discrete graphics card, it is more than sufficient.
I still don't understand what the separate small bolt in the zip bag in the kit is for.
