Spiral burner cookers
Electric (spiral)
— cookers with at least one electric burner of a spiral design. However, other types of burners in such models are practically not found. The basis of such a burner is a tubular heater (TEN) of a spiral shape (hence the name). At the same time, unlike the same solid plate burners, the heater is made open, and the pots are installed directly on it. The advantages of "spirals" include low weight, a higher heating rate than solid plate, as well as a lower tendency to deformation. At the same time, such heaters do not differ in either high efficiency or heating uniformity; and cleaning the spiral heating element from contamination is a rather troublesome task. As a result, this type of burner is nowadays found mainly in compact portable stoves, for which light weight is more important than the disadvantages described.
