Synthesizers with line input
— input for connecting an analogue audio signal from an external device — audio system, amplifier, PC, player, etc. Such an audio signal is usually used as an accompaniment to a synthesizer part, although other options are technically possible — for example, recording music to a USB flash drive or switching the signal with processing by the synthesizer's built-in instruments. Note that the input itself can use different connectors: relatively inexpensive models are equipped with a 3.5 mini-Jack jack, more serious ones — 6.35 mm Jack. However, these connectors are compatible using the simplest adapters.
