Keyboard split
— possibility of dividing the keyboard of the synthesizer — so that different timbres sound on the left and on the right side of it. This function allows you to simultaneously play different parts of two instruments — one main (on the right side of the keyboard) and one accompaniment (on the left side). And in models with voice overlay (see the relevant paragraph), it may be possible to use three timbres at once — one on the left side of the keyboard and two, layered on top of each other, on the right.Note that the choice of timbres for a split keyboard can be done in different ways: in some models, pre-written combinations are provided, in others, timbres can be selected at the request of the musician.
