Synthesizers with sensitivity control
Sensitivity adjustment
— the ability to adjust the sensitivity of the keyboard with active mechanics (see the relevant paragraph), in other words, change the relationship between the force of pressing and the dynamics of the notes issued. A higher sensitivity allows you to achieve a sharper and louder sound with the same pressing force, a lower one “smoothes” the sound, making it quieter, softer and more even in volume. Often, this feature also provides the ability to completely disable the active mechanics and turn the keyboard into a passive one. This can, in particular, be used as a creative technique.sensitivity adjustment | clear | Save List |
