Stockpots with steam hole
prices on 81 model— a steam outlet provided in the lid of the pot (or lids, if we are talking about a set).
For an ordinary pot (not a pressure cooker), an excess of steam under the lid is undesirable — it leads to increased foaming and liquid “running off” onto the stove. And keeping the lid ajar to release steam is not always convenient. The hole solves this problem: steam can escape through it even when the lid is completely closed.
