Larger than most trad gear, Trango's Big Bro fits in offwidths and wide cracks quickly and simply. Get the weight off your shaky fist stack, stick a Big Bro in the crack, push the button to extend it to the right size, and twist the sleeve to lock it in place. Since Big Bros resist pull in any direction, they're nearly impossible to accidentally dislodge as you climb past. These unique protection pieces are lighter and easier to rack than similar sized cams, and they're the only hope for pro once you start climbing into chicken-wing sizes.

When rappelling below the surface, we do so with Petzl's Push Rope. The mid-fat diameter saves grams in our pack yet still delivers burly performance against rock. The EverFlex treatment improves suppleness to give us greater grip and knotability, while the slight static elongation boosts safety and comfort when accidentally shock loaded.

From Zion to Weybridge, the Petzl 10mm Club Rope takes us however far we can wander without getting ourselves in a sticky situation. Constructed specifically for canyoning, caving, or rigging a fixed line, the Club is a semi-static rope that offers paramount performance, trustworthy grip, and blatant durability with its supple yet tenacious EverFlex treatment and smooth 32-carrier construction. Not to mention, the Club is ready for use with its ClimbReady coil and is equipped with a middle mark and an UltraSonic Finish on both ends.

Petzl's ultralight, compact, and highly protective Volta Guide 9. 0mm Rope is ideal when your climb is high up on the mountain, or the mountain itself. Its thin diameter works as a twin rope for long multi-pitches, a half rope for minimalist mountaineering routes, or a single rope for strenuous single pitches in the alpine. The rope's Guide Dry treatment meets the UIAA's standards for water-resistance by absorbing less water than 2%. Petzl also treated this rope with EverFlex to stabilize the rope's core strands for improved consistency, consistent handling, and an excellent grip. The Middle Mark helps you identify the rope's center for quicker and easier rappels.

The Revo Belay Device is an assisted braking device with features that help us optimize climber safety. The Revo works in both directions to minimize accidents that occur from incorrectly loaded belay devices and doesn't require any deviation from the standard belaying technique. No special locking carabiner is required either, so we can use our favorite locker on our rack.

Petzl had the Volta Dry Climbing Rope certified for use as a single, twin, or half rope so we can climb crags, ice, big walls, or mixed alpine routes with the same rope. The Volta sports a skinny 9. 2-millimeter diameter and an ultralight weight (55 grams per meter) to keep elite climbers content. Petzl treated this rope with a Duratec dry treatment to resist water, dirt, and abrasion, and the treatment also provides better rope grip and handling in cold, wet conditions.
