The HotForge Hybrid takes Black Diamond's new hot-forged carabiner and combines it with a HotWire to further reduce the weight of your rack. Hot-forged construction maximizes strength while shaving off ounces, while the wire gate both reduces weight and eliminates gate flutter. The polyester dogbone is wide and comfortable to work with, and features a Straitjacket insert to ensure the HotWire stays properly aligned for a smooth clip.

The MiniWire Alpine Quickdraw combines two of Black Diamond's lightest carabiners with a slim, durable Dynex sling styled for trad, alpine, and multi-pitch climbs. It packs small for long alpine approaches, and despite their smaller sizes, the carabiners facilitate easier clipping and unclipping due to Black Diamond tweaking the noses' geometries. The Dynex sling is light, abrasion-resistant, and absorbs less water than nylon, making this draw particularly useful on ice as well as rock.
