Bait spoons

Bait spoon

— a scoop (like a spoon or a small shovel) on a short or long handle, sometimes with holes for "sieving" water, used to gather bait and carefully place it in a spot. It works like a "manual dispenser": you gather a portion, guide it to the spot, and pour it out without making a forceful cast or scattering the bait over the entire area. This is especially convenient if the spot is close, near the shore, or among reeds. The spoon provides precise and quiet feeding with grains, pellets, or loose bait when accuracy and small portions are important. For example, it allows you to toss 2–3 portions of pellets near a float at the edge of grass in a fishing pond without scaring the fish with rocket and feeder throws.
