The carp fishing boat is notable for its accuracy and "silent" delivery: the hopper/tray drops the bait near the rig, and advanced models may have GPS points, autopilot, lighting, and a fishfinder, which helps when fishing at night and over long distances. Unlike a spod rocket (spomb), the boat does not require powerful casts and is less likely to scare away fish, but it depends on the battery, wind, and regulations of a particular water body. Example of use: transport boilies and rig to a distant ledge at 150-200 m, mark the spot with GPS, and maintain baiting "on the spot" all day.
