In fact, a straight bar is used in most modern trimmers — thanks to its functionality, reliability and ease of manufacture and maintenance, and suitability for even the most powerful engines. However in some situations this form can be relatively inconvenient; however, such situations are quite rare, and for most household and even professional tasks, a straight trimmer is sufficient.
