Straight electric screwdriver
Straight
— a tool of this design has an elongated body without pronounced bends; in front of the body there is a working nozzle (its rotation axis is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tool), and the back part plays the role of a handle. In some cases, this design is more convenient than the pistol, but in general it is less ergonomic. Therefore, the straight body is less common, mainly among specific types of instruments. So, drills of this form are usually either compact, low-power models, which often can also be used as an engraver, or heavy professional diamond drilling units (see "Additional"), often with a stand in the kit (see ibid.). Screwdrivers and nutrunners of a direct design are usually referred to as pneumatic tools (see "Power"), and in combination drills-drivers, such cases are practically not found.
