Description Wafters have been used by specimen anglers for many years. Wafters were first introduced by Sonubaits 2014 in smaller sizes to appeal to match anglers. Since then flavours and colours have changed but the principle remains the same. A wafter should float, but sink slowly with the weight of a hook attached. This critically balances the wafter and makes it waft. Because it wafts when a fish is feeding, it will rise up more quickly than a standard bottom bait into the fish's mouth resulting in more hooked fish. When commercial master Andy Bennett joined the Mainline Match team at the start of the year, he was very keen to create his own personal commercial groundbait mix for pole and feeder fishing, and that is where the Bagga Mix originated! The groundbait is crafted from a blend of different pellets that have diverse fishmeal and oil contents to give it the fishmeal and pellet smell. When you look closely you can see the multiple shades and speckles of various pellets in this groundbait. The grinding process of the mix is also important and gives it a gritty but even texture that makes it very easy to mix-up and use.
