When commercial master Andy Bennett joined the Mainline Match team at the start of the year, he was very keen to create his own personal commercial groundbait mix for pole and feeder fishing, and that is where the Bagga Mix originated! The groundbait is crafted from a blend of different pellets that have diverse fishmeal and oil contents to give it the fishmeal and pellet smell. When you look closely you can see the multiple shades and speckles of various pellets in this groundbait. I love it because it's fine, dark and doesn't fill the fish up while producing a cloud from the bottom or the surface depending on how it's mixed. This is a fairly heavy mix, first developed by Marcel Van Den Eynde for the 1983 World Championship venue in Holland, which Belgium won. It's a good attractor for quality roach and chub and works best in depths of 6-12ft. A good winter ground bait, it has a fairly sticky consistency which makes it a very good carrier of loose offerings, when there's a need to get a lot of casters in a swim with only small amounts of ground bait.

Skimmer Mix is designed for fishing ponds and stillwaters. This medium coarse, slightly active feed attracts a variety of fish species and can be easily modified by adding other ingredients. JVS Special Feeder is a highly aromatic groundbait developed specially for bream. It contains lots of particles of different types and sizes and these are all designed to react differently in the water. For example, some break up quickly once the groundbait has reached the bottom, while others take much longer. The groundbait is not easy to work with and should be mixed at least 1 hour in advance.
