The Honor MagicPad flagship tablet series is designed as a full-fledged alternative to laptops for productive work, study, and advanced multimedia entertainment on the go. The brand positions these devices as premium "all-in-one" workstations capable of easily handling heavy applications and multitasking. The main advantages of the lineup are the large screens (diagonal of 12 to 13 inches), powerful Snapdragon platforms, advanced AI features of the MagicOS interface, audio systems with 8 speakers and spatial sound, and support for the proprietary Magic-Pencil stylus.

The first tablet was named MagicPad 13, where the number denoted the screen diagonal, not the generation. To avoid confusion with future sizes, Honor switched to sequential numbering, releasing the MagicPad 2. The change in the lineup from model to model reflects a change in design and materials. While the first IPS tablet was fairly bulky and heavy, in subsequent versions the manufacturer reduced the thickness of the body to 4.8 mm by switching to OLED matrices and silicon-carbon batteries with increased energy density. At the same time, the display characteristics changed — from IPS panels to OLED matrices with brightness up to 1600 nits. While the first model focused on diagonal size and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, in current versions the manufacturer added software and hardware eye protection technologies. The modern representative of the series offers a 12.3-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 3000x1920 pixels.

The hardware also updated: the latest model runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor paired with 12 or 16 GB of RAM and storage up to 1 TB. Battery life is ensured by a 10100 mAh battery with 66W charging support. In the latest generations, due to the operating system update, functions such as automatic translation, voice recognition during audio recording, and handwriting digitization from the stylus were introduced.
