Super AMOLED screen tablets
Super AMOLED
— an improved and refined version of AMOLED technology. A feature of this technology is that the screen, unlike other types of matrices, does not require a separate backlight — each pixel is a miniature LED. This made it possible to achieve excellent brightness and contrast, rich colours (including deep blacks) and at the same time reduce power consumption. And in Super AMOLED matrices, it was possible to embed the touch layer directly into the display, without an air layer between them; this further improved brightness and reduced glare. The disadvantages of such screens are rather high cost, complexity in mass production, as well as uneven pixel burn-in as they wear out: the more often a pixel has to work at high brightness, the faster it loses its working properties.Super AMOLED | clear | Save List |
