But there are many disadvantages: this is a weak degree of light amplification (when lighting is weaker than a moonlit night, an IR illuminator is needed), and spurious illumination from point sources, and image distortion at the edges of the screen, and the lack of automatic protection against bright light. However, for simple tasks, night vision devices with such converters are quite suitable.
