In the Q8 series, the Korean giant Samsung releases mid-range QLED TVs with FALD backlighting, a built-in subwoofer and an optional 120 Hz refresh rate, which will especially appeal to fans of fast-paced video games. With high refresh rates, low latency, built-in FreeSync Premium frame-sync technology and HDMI 2.1 ports, these TVs are designed to meet the demands of today's gaming consoles and PCs.

Based on functionality, this series belongs to advanced solutions that can satisfy the needs of most average users. In particular, this series actively uses the Quantum 4K post-processing processor, which supports automatic adjustment of brightness and contrast, can scale images from Full HD to 4K, and supports frame interpolation technology. However, against the backdrop of popular and at the same time quite expensive OLED TVs, QLED panels have actually migrated to the mid-price segment.

The Q8 series range includes less than 10 visually similar thin-frame TVs with neat stands and VESA wall mounts measuring 200x200 mm. Unlike other series, the choice of sizes here starts from 49 inches, and the diagonal of the largest panel can reach 98 inches. All of them display images in 4K resolution, are capable of adequately reproducing the HDR10+ format, are friendly with voice assistants, and are able to transmit content over the air using AirPlay 2 and Miracast technologies. The Samsung Tizen proprietary smart shell is responsible for managing the system.
