As part of the QN9xx series, the Korean manufacturer Samsung produces large and advanced 8K TVs with advanced Mini LED backlighting, powerful multi-channel sound, minimalistic design in the Infinity One style and almost all the technical innovations that can be found on the TV market. Compared to the QLED panels of the seventh and eighth series, in the “nines” the standard resolution was increased from 4K to 8K, the Samsung Quantum processor was thoroughly modified, increasing its upscaling capabilities to 8K, and on top everything was sprinkled with various wow features that should make this line stand out compared to the company's other TVs. We are talking about things like a separate port for a webcam, a single One Connect wire connection module, or a remote control with a built-in solar panel.

It was as part of this series that Samsung announced its largest QLED TV in history - the 98-inch Samsung Neo QLED 8K TV, developed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Considering the format of such a collaboration, it is being advertised as a super-expensive and high-end home theater capable of reproducing billions of colors and working at the highest level with Dolby Atmos and Cinema Object Tracking Sound surround sound technologies. To competently implement immersive sound, this series uses complex systems of 6-8 speakers scattered throughout the body and a built-in subwoofer.

The QN9x ranks are dominated by truly massive TVs with a minimum screen diagonal of 65 inches. As befits advanced TVs, they can display images in the “8K + 120 Hz” mode, support video content with an extended dynamic range of HDR10+ and boast a Premium version of the AMD FreeSync frame synchronizer. The built-in Quantum processor plays an important role in artificial adaptation, upscaling and post-processing of images, and also helps with the implementation of multi-channel audio. Mandatory elements of the program are an up-to-date Wi-Fi receiver, several HDMI 2.1 outputs, USB ports, a LAN network connector, support for AirPlay and Chromecast signal transmission technologies, as well as an integrated voice assistant.
