On head

— mounts that allow you to mount an action camera on your head usually use either a headband or a strap system. Such models are perfect for situations when you need to record a video from the first-person view — with the standard fixing method, the camera captures what is in front of the user's eyes, and also follows the turns of the head. However, some models also allow non-standard fastening — for example, with the lens back, in the face of the user.

In general, this type of mount is similar in application to helmet mounts. However, in some situations, a helmet is not available or needed, in which case it is easier to mount the camera directly on your head.
