Card reader

— a device that allows a CD player to read information from memory cards — usually to play music from such media. Memory cards are widely used in modern technology, and sometimes it's easier to record music on such a medium (for example, on a laptop) than to fiddle with "slicing" an optical disc. Most often, the card reader is designed for SD cards; they are presented on the market in several varieties, so it's ok to clarify which versions the player can work with.
