— airPlay technology is used to connect Apple portable devices (iPhone, iPod, iPad) to various audio equipment (including CD players) using Wi-Fi wireless technology. Such a connection allows you to directly play audio from the mentioned "apple" devices, as well as display various additional information on the player's screen — for example, the name and artist of the composition. Note that for AirPlay to work, a full-fledged computer network is required — this technology does not imply a direct connection between the transmitter and receiver.
