RCA in this case does not mean the connector itself with the same name, but an analogue audio transmission interface using these connectors. This interface is one of the most popular ways to transfer an analogue audio signal between Hi-Fi and Hi-End audio components; its presence is almost mandatory for CD players generally capable of outputting analogue audio. Note that one RCA output consists of a pair of connectors — for the left and right stereo channels.

The abundance of outputs allows you to connect several devices that perceive the signal to the CD player at once, but such a connection is not always required. Therefore, models with less than two RCA outputs are allocated to a separate selection item. At the same time, this paragraph includes both players with one output of this type, and devices that do not have it at all (usually, these are equipment that are not equipped with a DAC at all and are capable of outputting only a digital signal through the appropriate interfaces).
