Trigger

— the presence of a trigger input allows you to automatically turn on the CD player at the same time as turning on another component of the system — for example, an amplifier. To do this, the mentioned component must be equipped with a trigger output, which must be connected to this input; when the control device is turned on, the output receives a signal perceived by the player as a command to turn it on.
