The phone is good, I use it as my main device. I bought it in December 2020. If you like to play games, go for it, but be prepared to flash a custom ROM, as the phone (mine is 2 years old) starts to lag badly on MIUI after a year. I have the 3GB/64GB version, and it will definitely be better than the younger sibling, the 9A. In general, the phone is good and satisfied, but I would like more ... To be honest, with ... [not a very good emotion] when I saw the price, I took it for 3500 hryvnias. And immediately a month after I bought it, they added a 128 gigabyte model and green color, my favorite ... [sounds of sadness] A lot (especially after switching from 2 gigabytes) of memory, which immediately clogged up to 100% (but this is already my fault), performance in games (simple arcades fly at 123 FPS), and PUBG and Standoff 2 work at a comfortable and even excellent speed . The presence of NFC was very pleasing (especially when you have 3 bank cards) (and you can also link your mother's card and ... that's a completely different story), but for her (payment by phone, if you forgot what I mean), I had to sacrifice one camera. Terrible model for this money, better get an iPhone 7 or Samsung. It lags a lot after just 2 months. The camera is terrible, an iPhone 4S takes better pictures. The hardware is awful. The back cover scratches very easily. Used it for a year. In the end, had to reset it to factory settings twice!! Xiaomi, please make decent devices like the Redmi 7A and 8A which were great devices, unlike this overrated junk!! Frameless screen, quite durable (dropped many times and the glass didn't even get scratched). I am satisfied with the speaker and microphone. And of course, the fingerprint sensor, NFC, and Face ID. The battery is pretty good, more or less lasts for a day. Lags, lags, and more lags, especially with MIUI that's put together hastily and buggy, causing the phone to freeze even if you just want to clear the cache or switch between apps. A weak processor and FPS drops in games (sometimes even the sound freezes). And of course, the fingerprint sensor and NFC don't work properly. And why did Xiaomi suddenly decide to go from having Type-C and fast charging support in the Redmi 8-8A to just the regular old microUSB here? For this price, you'd expect something more.
