The Taiwanese brand Seasonic is strongly associated with expensive and high-quality A-class products. One of the company's most popular models, Seasonic PRIME GX, despite its "gold" status, does not give in to many "platinum" power supplies.

Damn quiet

First, this is one of the quietest power supplies in the sub-$250 category. Even under load, it practically does not make noise, not exceeding the threshold of 19 dB. An important nuance if you need a powerful and at the same time quiet computer. At the same time, you are free to further reduce the noise level by switching the hybrid cooling system to semi-passive mode. Second, Seasonic's attention to detail is impressive. For example, the unit comes with a convenient case for storing detachable cables and several ties that make it easier to lay cables inside the system unit. Thirdly, almost no one gives a 12-year warranty for power supplies. And Seasonic does.

High-quality circuitry and Japanese capacitors

By tradition, Seasonic uses high-quality circuitry and Japanese capacitors, so performance is in order here: when the load changes, all three main power lines remain stable, and the overall voltage deviation is much lower than required by the ATX12V standard. And all this good is very weakly heated, thanks to which we received an impressive power reserve - 24%, ladies and gentlemen. The only negative in comparison to this is the traditionally high price for the brand, the market is full of much cheaper models with the 80+ Gold certificate, but not many of them can offer such a combination of quality and functionality. However it is not so easy to find a 750-watt model on the market now, so we keep in mind an alternative 650-watt option. Fortunately, for modern components with low TDP, even such a margin is enough to build a really powerful system.
