Seasonic FOCUS GX (formerly known as Focus Plus Gold SSR) is one of the best 80 PLUS Gold power supplies that competes with Platinum solutions in terms of overall performance. By the way, the official platinum modification in the Seasonic FOCUS series is also available, as well as the compact SFX version.
Pioneers of block building
It is based on Seasonic's own design circuitry, including all the advanced know-how: DC-to-DC (it was Seasonic who was the first to transfer all their power supplies to separate stabilization), LLC and Single Rail. All this results in minimal supply voltage fluctuations along the lines and ultra-low ripple.

Purely Japanese capacitors are used — a combination of Nichicon and Nippon Chemi-Con high-temperature series 105 °C. There are two cooling options to choose from, between which you can switch with a button on the case. For example, in the summer heat, you can activate a light constant airflow.
