The mid-range model of the flagship line of high-performance internal M.2 SSDs supporting the high-speed PCIe Gen4 x4 system interface, delivering twice the throughput of Gen3. It is positioned as a product of the upper price category, designed for use as part of high-performance gaming systems and workstations of the middle / upper level. It features impressive I / O performance, the highest read / write speed (5000/4000 MB / s) and minimal latency.
It has a frameless design, the printed circuit board meets the 2280 form factor standard. The hardware basis of the Seagate FireCuda 520 ZP1000GM3A002 SSD is the 2019 Phison PS5016-E16 top-end eight-channel controller, capable of simultaneously working with eight data streams and equipped with a DDR4 DRAM buffer of 1 GB. Toshiba's high-quality 96-layer 256-Gb BiCS4 3D TLC NAND flash memory is used for data storage. It is worth paying attention to the impressive guaranteed recording resource of 1800 TB (980 GB of daily rewriting under a 5-year warranty).
