For lovers of profit and volumetric SSDs, follow the pulse so as not to die of delight
1 June 2023
I found it through this store, bought it through Amazon (I bought the 4 TB version without a heatsink). Speaking of US prices, the best value 2/4TB SSD for 2023 is $125 and $250 respectively. With such a volume and a recording speed even higher than the declared 7 GB / s is just a fairy tale, Samsung 990 PRO is not just nervously smoking on the sidelines, being even more expensive than a 4 TB model with a performance difference, in my opinion, somewhere in 5-10%, and yelling in panic! Any other companies follow the principle that a 4 terabyte SSD is 3 times more expensive than a 2 terabyte one, but here everything is both cheap and justified. The advantage here will be not only the DDR4 buffer, but also TRIM, which the same Kingston KC3000, which is more loved, does not have it (even if TRIM does not particularly decide, but also a plus). I will mention purely for those who are interested, but there is hardware encryption. In addition, this bastard still does not heat up, though on a simple, but still M.2 cooling in the motherboard. TBW is huge, TBW is huge, in short, simply the best product for the money! Knowing that PNY makes the worst video cards, no matter how much I dig into the disk, there are really no cons, maybe I just got a good one that wasn't defective. From my own experience, I bought two for 4 TB, connected them with a zero RAID array and forgot about the hard drives))
* Price (especially good for the 4TB version)
* Speeds (write speed even slightly higher than stated)
* Reliability and durability (Warranty + MTBF + TBW)
* Features like DDR buffer and TRIM, which many good SSDs lack
* Temperature
* No, but if so, time will tell
