Expecting restock
A high-performance pre-top gaming graphics card from MSI, based on the advanced NVIDIA Ada Lovelace graphics microarchitecture, unveiled in late 2022. Part of the 2023 Gaming Trio family, aimed at demanding gamers, eSports athletes and enthusiasts who can maximize the performance of their hardware through overclocking and component optimization expertise. It is also perfect for upgrading existing gaming PCs with video cards from previous generations that are losing their relevance. Like all members of the Trio family, it is equipped with a three-slot cooling system with three active TORX FAN fans, a large passive radiator with a pair of heat-conducting pipes and a wide metal base. The video card turned out to be quite large (length 337 mm, width - 2.5 slots), so the manufacturer recommends...considering it as the main GPU in a classic Midi Tower case; it may not fit into something smaller. To attract attention, the casing was decorated with neat MSI Mystic Light Sync lighting. The power consumption of the device has been increased to 215 W, so as not to limit overclocking capabilities, the manufacturer recommends using it with a 650 W power supply. With updated RT cores, it can handle lighting and shadows in games more efficiently and realistically than second- and third-generation NVIDIA RTX GPUs. In turn, DLSS 3.0 technology is equipped with more efficient algorithms for image completion, which do not blur the image so noticeably and at the same time increase the average FPS more than its predecessors. Featuring a powerful graphics chip and 12GB of GDDR6X VRAM, the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 GAMING X TRIO 12G delivers smooth gameplay up to 100 FPS in most recent blockbuster games at high or maximum graphics settings and 2K resolution. For Full HD resolution its power is excessive, and in 4K FPS drops are guaranteed. In addition to the video card itself, the kit includes proprietary NVIDIA tools (Broadcast, Encoder, Reflex, Studio, RTX IO) for working with 3D graphics, optimizing streaming, reducing latency in signal transmission from control devices, accelerating texture loading, etc.

Excellent, quiet, and cool, but the GeForce RTX 4070 AORUS MASTER is even cooler.
11 November 2023
Top-end hardware, one of the best cooling systems, very quiet. I chose this because it has the coolest memory temperatures, plus it's one of the best in terms of circuit design, the cooler is very robust. There are even bulkier ones like the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 AORUS MASTER, but this one is more than sufficient. In a well-ventilated case with a closed side panel, it comfortably maintains 63 degrees at 215 watts and 1500 RPM. At 240 watts and +1000 MHz on the memory, it still stays cool, 67 degrees and 1900 RPM, with the memory temperature in OCCT at 54-55 degrees.
Top-notch specs, excellent and quiet cooling
Useless graphics card stand, it's just decorative. Well, and it's probably 12vhpwr, I wouldn't say it's a downside, but for someone, it might be a serious drawback, for example, those with very narrow cases... well, VERY narrow. Should you be afraid it will melt? Definitely not, since the graphics card has only 215 watts TDP, and also about 50 watts is drawn from the PCIE slot, so there's no need to worry about bending this connector or that it will be like with the 4080/4090)
