A high-quality home router capable of simultaneously operating in two Wi-Fi frequency bands and supporting the most technically advanced data transmission standard in wireless networks — 802.11ac. The device is positioned as a low-cost model with the appropriate capabilities. Advanced settings for network connections and routing are provided with RouterOS version 6. This operating system is MikroTik's own development based on Debian Linux.
The wealth of settings and possibilities provided by this system is able to satisfy the most demanding users. The MikroTik hAP ac lite router works with any Wi-Fi devices of the 802.11b/g/n/ac standard, and operation in the 5 GHz band allows you to achieve high stability and data transfer speed in conditions of high air noise in the 2.4 GHz frequency region. Fast Ethernet 10/100BASE-TX or a 3G/4G modem can be used as a WAN port. Four Fast Ethernet-TX LAN ports allow you to organize a high-speed local network with support for DHCP, PPPoE, L2TP, PPTP, and there are also firewall functions. The optimal setting of the router and requires a certain qualification of the user.

I have no complaints about the router's performance as such; it fulfills its functions 100%, never lagged or froze. This device is clearly intended for geeks, system administrators, and others who need highly flexible settings. For a regular user, the router's functionality is excessive, and if you're considering buying it but don't want to bother with it, then this device is definitely not for you. Compact with no protruding antennas, 4 LAN ports for connecting necessary devices, simultaneous dual-band operation, and other useful settings and functions that I don't quite understand, but you won't find many for this price) The interface is quite clunky and not user-friendly at all. Brands like Asus or TP-Link are much more convenient, and they're in Russian, unlike this one. The signal is weak; it's positioned behind the TV, and devices in the kitchen or bathroom already start losing signal, and that's just 5-8 meters away at most. The 100 Mbps port is a downside, as not everyone has 1 Gbps internet yet, but considering how often such devices are replaced, it makes sense to get one with a 1 Gbps port already.
