A productive universal dual-band wireless access point with support for the Wi-Fi 6 standard (802.11n/ac/ax), a productive hardware platform and the original RouterOS v7 operating system with the ability to fine-tune many different parameters. Designed for ceiling mounting. It has a stylish exterior design that will easily fit into the interior of an office, cafe, restaurant, store, hotel and other commercial premises.

Equipped with integrated antennas with a gain of 6/5.5 dBi for 2.4/5 GHz ranges. Supports MIMO 2x2 multi-stream data transmission technology. The hardware platform is based on a 4-core Quallcom IPQ-6010 processor (up to 1.8 GHz). According to the manufacturer, such a platform provides a data transfer rate of up to 574 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz range and up to 1200 Mbps at 5 GHz. The incoming WAN connection to the MikroTik cAP ax access point is performed via the GbE port or over the air, in WISP mode.

Thanks to the original software subsystem, this model supports complex firewall rules, hardware encryption IPsec, Wireguard, BGP, advanced routing and several parallel VPN tunnels. The access point can function as an amplifier (repeater) and a bridge. The device is powered via the incoming cable network port using PoE technology. The second GbE port can work as a PoE out for connecting a camera or other active network equipment.
