Multifunction wheel. Easy adaptation to mats. DPI indicator. Changeable weight. 5 additional buttons. HERO sensor with high response time.

The wired gaming mouse from the G Series lineup debuted on the market in 2018. It is the successor to the G502 and is designed in a similar right-handed design with customizable RGB lighting. The device features a proprietary optical sensor with a resolution range of 100 – 25600 DPI. The Logitech G502 Hero mouse includes its own microprocessor and built-in memory that allows storing up to 5 different profiles with various programmed command combinations for the keys.

The main switches are co-developed with Omron and are rated for 50 million clicks. In addition to the large number of buttons (9), the model features a versatile scroll wheel that recognizes three types of clicks (left, right, and center) and supports two scroll modes: fast and precise. The device weighs 121 grams, and with the addition of five weights included in the package, this can be increased by 18 grams.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Logitech G502 Hero is a highly customizable gaming mouse that stands out for its advanced Hero sensor with a resolution range of 100 to 25600 DPI, making it suitable for various gaming and work scenarios. Users appreciate its programmable buttons, weight adjustment options, and ergonomic design, which fits comfortably in most hands. The mouse features a 4D scroll wheel and a sniper button, although some users report accidental clicks with the latter. While the build quality is generally praised, some users have experienced issues with double-clicking and button wear over time. The software allows for extensive customization, though it can be cumbersome for some. Despite its weight being a concern for a few, the overall feedback is positive, with many recommending it for its versatility and performance in both gaming and professional settings.

Good mouse, but it's a pity that in about a year or two a double click will appear.

Good mouse, I was happy with it, but recently a double click appeared, because of this I'm considering looking for a new mouse.
Design, sensor, software, cool scroll wheel function (I think this is present in all mice, except for the very cheap ones)
Double click

I intend to upgrade to the same one, only wireless.

So far, the best mouse I've tried.
The double-click issue can be fixed by replacing the bent plastic under the button (it's easy to cut a similar piece from any plastic card).
When disassembling, be extremely careful with the rubber components, especially the rear one, otherwise, they might snag after reassembly.
+ Comfortable
+ Convenient (now quite) software
+ All additional buttons are convenient (except the sniper button)
+ Wheel - haven't seen better yet.
+ Weight. IDK about others, but I see the weight as a plus. I would even add a weight, but there's not that much space in it.
- Again, about the software: profiles can only be configured for applications recognized by the software.

I recommend purchasing it. Colleagues I've advised also have good impressions.

Purchased this mouse over a year ago
Sniper button, good software for setting up buttons and sensitivity modes, weight adjustment. Good sensor - works on almost any surface.
A couple of months into using it, the "back" button got stuck. I had to open the mouse, remove the side button board cable, and clean the oxidized contacts. Many have reported such a defect. After cleaning, the button has been working for over 3 months now.

Timely update of the popular mouse

The Logitech G502 HERO is a natural update to the multi-button and very popular model, which has acquired the most advanced optical sensor of its own production, and in terms of reliability, the mouse gained confidence by installing new and durable switches. The main feature of the mouse is the combination of the flagship Hero sensor with a convenient 4D wheel (there are 2 scroll modes) and a bunch of additional keys. Moreover, five buttons are sharpened not only for MOBA games, there is also a separate “sniper” button. However, it harms rather than benefits due to accidental clicks.

Design for gamers

The G502 Hero impresses with its approach to the concept of “design for gamers”: the futuristic body is so generously decorated with decorative inserts, as if it were some kind of Transformers mock-up and it will now turn into either a robot or a toaster. However, bow to Logitech designers, it doesn’t look like it’s crazy or outrageous, and it will surely find its fans. The main body material is a rough matte plastic, which is both good for grip and practical. Acrylic inserts add some variety, and a comfortable rubberized thumb pad gives the manipulator an aggressive look. The disadvantages can only be considered too easily soiled case.

Functional 4D wheel

The 4D wheel is very responsive, and the rubberized material rolls just right—not too tight, not too light. You can use it both in normal mode and as a three-position button. As for the convenience in games, this is six out of five, no kidding. This is the third iteration of the model and in it Logitech has brought the shape to the perfect. The fixation in the hand is excellent, headshots are dealt twice. Especially if you prefer a palm-claw or palm-finger grip. Fans of point balancing will appreciate the set of weights for changing the weight of the mouse.
