Photos 7 | Outdated Product $299.99 Fast 23.6-inch FHD 16:9 gaming monitor with fast refresh rate, fast screen response and AMD FreeSync. Positioned as a mid-range product from the LG UltraGear family of 2021 gaming models, aimed at demanding PC gamers and aspiring esports players. The screen is based on an 8-bit (6-bit + FRC) TN-matrix with a resolution of 1920x1080 and Flicker-Free backlighting on W-LED elements that do not create PWM flicker. With a fast response (1ms GtG) and support for a high refresh rate of 144Hz, the LG UltraGear 24GL650 monitor is able to provide increased clarity of moving objects in the game scene, which is essential for fast-paced competitive shooters (PUBG, Fortnite, Counter-Strike, Overwatch, Apex Legends, Warface, Battlefield, etc.). Also worth noting is the elegant exterior design, low input...lag and good energy efficiency (30W average power consumption). AMD FreeSync 2 technology eliminates mini-lags and characteristic artifacts (frame breaks). Removable stand allows you to adjust not only the angle of inclination, but also the height of the screen. To connect to a signal source, there are three connectors of two digital interfaces 2xHDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 (both types of cables are included). |

no miss
The LG UltraGear 24GL650-B is an inexpensive 24-inch monitor with a clear focus on gaming. Moreover, the word "sight" is used both figuratively and literally. After all, if you wish, you can turn on the display of the crosshair of the sight directly on the monitor screen, regardless of the game. This is useful, for example, in the multiplayer shooter Counter-Strike when shooting from sniper rifles that lack a scope.
Zero delay
The screen resolution of the UltraGear 24GL650-B is 1920x1080 pixels, which, with a diagonal of 24", results in an image density of 92 PPI. The main feature is an increased screen refresh rate of 144 Hz and, conversely, a reduced GtG response time of 1 ms. The matrix, however, is used of the TN type, therefore, for example, it is not suitable for professional photo processing (the colour gamut is only NTSC 72%). But if such an inexpensive monitor had a VA or IPS matrix, the GtG response time would inevitably increase to 3 or 5 ms, respectively.
Frame Synchronization
Support for FreeSync 2 technology further contributes to comfortable gaming. It synchronizes the frame rate in games with the screen refresh rate and, thereby, completely eliminates image tearing. Additionally, LG's proprietary technologies are applied: Dynamic Action Sync (DAS) minimizes input lag, and black stabilizer highlights dark areas in games in order to better see lurking enemies.
I twist and turn
Pleasant bonuses of the UltraGear 24GL650-B are an ultra-thin frame around the screen, a built-in USB hub and an ergonomic monitor leg with three degrees of freedom: you can adjust the tilt angle, height and rotate the screen to portrait mode. The latter may come in handy, for example, if you plan to use it as a second monitor, but there is not enough space on the table. There are even more functional gaming monitors in the LG model range: the advanced 27-inch LG 27GL850-B with 2K resolution, IPS matrix and GtG 1ms response time, and the giant 34-inch LG 34GK950F with 3K resolution and 21 aspect ratio: nine.
