Internal 2.5-inch SSD designed for professional tasks and corporate use. The Kingston KC600 connects via the SATA 3.0 interface and is based on 3D TLC NAND memory, ensuring a balance between storage density and cost efficiency.
Despite using TLC, the drive demonstrates high performance for SATA devices: up to 550 MB/s for sequential reading and up to 520 MB/s for writing. Random access speeds reach 90,000 IOPS for reading and 80,000 IOPS for writing, enabling it to handle multitasking, large data processing, and intensive application operation. The Silicon Motion SM2259 controller is optimized for reliable TLC memory operation and supports advanced security features.
Among these are hardware 256-bit XTS-AES encryption and compliance with TCG Opal and Microsoft eDrive standards, allowing the drive to be used in infrastructures with mandatory encryption and data protection requirements, such as those with BitLocker policies. The write endurance is rated at 300 TBW, and the average time to failure is 1 million hours. Reliability is further confirmed by an official five-year warranty. If not M.2, then take this SSD at 512 GB or higher, less is much worse and not only in terms of total memory. Speed, ease of installation, stable operation without overheating, on socket 1150: Asus H97M-Plus + i5-4670 + Corsair CL9 1600 2 * 4 GB works smartly without glitches and problems on Windows 7/64.
