The Cloud Alpha S model differs from the previous Cloud Alpha model by the presence of an external sound card for setting up surround sound. The sound card has a USB connection. Bass adjustment. Ability to customize sound in game and chat.
High-quality closed-type gaming over-ear headphones with a wired connection and a bundled USB-card for organizing surround sound virtualization in 7.1 format. Positioned as a product of the middle price category, designed for use with personal computers, laptops and mobile gadgets (tablets, smartphones and players are connected with a metre cable with a 4-pin mini-Jack connector).
The durable and well thought-out design consists of plastic and aluminium parts, it is securely held on the head and weighs only 310g. Large 50 mm high impedance drivers (60 ohms) reproduce an extended frequency range (13 Hz to 27 kHz). The high sound quality of Kingston HyperX Cloud Alpha S headphones allows you to enjoy not only the gaming process, but also listening to music from a wide variety of genres and directions. Passive noise isolation confidently dampens moderate external noise. The virtualization of the eight-channel acoustic environment enhances the effect of presence and increases the level of immersion in the game process.

Well, look, if you just want to have fun and play for 4-5 hours maximum, then take it. 1. Sound. It's awesome. 2. Shape. These are VERY comfortable headphones. 3. Price. Carl, for this kind of money you won't get anything more durable and long-lasting. 4. Durability. I personally know 3 people who have had them for a long time and they're still completely intact. 1. RESISTANCE... if you plug them into the phone, the sound will be at most like from a bucket. 2. Spare earpads (they're still crappy) use HyperX Cloud Alpha S few months |
Sound, build quality, ease of use. I chose the headphones for a very long time and painfully - I looked and reviewed a bunch of reviews and sat on various forums and in the end I decided to take a risk and take these headphones. I didn't make a mistake, although I had some doubts. Many people complained about quiet sound and problems with the sound card, etc. I don’t know what kind of problems they had, but everything worked fine for me right away without any problems. The sound is simply amazing and the microphone works well, doesn’t duplicate anything, etc. everything is great. I don’t have any cool sound card, I use the one built into the motherboard.
