An expressive gaming-inspired monitor armed with a 23.8-inch flat screen. Its refresh rate reaches 144 Hz, the claimed response time is 1 ms. For the sake of achieving such figures had to sacrifice the viewing angles of the display (160° vertically and 170° horizontally). However, this is not a feature of this particular model, but of all monitors on a TN + film type matrix. AMD FreeSync Premium adaptive frame rate sync technology guards the smoothness of image rendering in highly dynamic game scenes.
To connect signal sources, the Dell S2421HGF provides DisplayPort v 1.2 and HDMI v 1.4 interfaces (2 pcs.). However, the monitor has a 3.5 mm audio jack. The display position is adjustable in height and angle. I took it to play shooters, in fact it turned out that the 1ms matrix response does not work. Yes, you can turn it on at 144 Hz, but then there are artifacts on the monitor. The funniest thing about this is written in the specification for searching the Internet; it is in the public domain. When you turn on the ultra fast 1ms mode, image distortion is possible. That's how it's written! in fact, a 144 Hz monitor with a 4 ms response and a large pixel. There was an HDMI cable, I bought a display port, but nothing happened.
