The debut model of 2025 in the profile brand lineup COROS is a smartwatch designed for travelers, anglers, and fans of an active lifestyle. To be used far from the comforts of civilization, it features an energy-efficient 1.3-inch transflective screen and a capacious lithium-polymer battery. As a result, the model can operate for 22 days without recharging in standard mode, and no less than 50 hours with continuous GPS operation. Speaking of the navigation capabilities of the COROS Nomad, it is worth mentioning its dual-frequency satellite signal receiver, compass, topographic map support, and track guidance feature—useful for hiking, trail running, or ultramarathons.
Everything for Sports and Fishing
The smartwatch is equipped with a plastic case with an aluminum bezel, making it strong but not heavy (61 grams with the silicone strap). The model supports 40 sports modes, including swimming—5 ATM water resistance allows for swimming without deep diving. The watch measures heart rate variability, evaluates fitness level, analyzes recovery, and readiness for new loads. For anglers, there's a special mode with data on moon phases, tides, catch registration, and more. Another interesting feature is the Voice pin function: the built-in noise-canceling microphone allows you to leave voice notes tied to route points during hiking, training, or fishing.
Health Monitoring
The model not only measures heart rate and oxygen saturation but also conducts ECGs. Music lovers have access to 32 GB of internal memory. One downside is the lack of NFC for contactless payments. Overall, the COROS Nomad is a long-lasting smartwatch and a worthy competitor to Garmin and other popular brands.
