The Audio-Technica ATH-M60x are professional full-size closed-back headphones equipped with high-end 45mm rare earth drivers and an aluminium voice coil. These are the same speakers used in the legendary ATH-M50. According to the manufacturer, they have come a long way of improvements and modifications, until, finally, they are as close as possible to the ideal. The ATH-M60x is the pinnacle of the renowned ATH series of studio headphones that are equally loved by musicians, sound engineers and music lovers around the world.
The headphones have a flat frequency response, without distortions towards powerful bass or crystal-clear highs, which ensures the so-called monitor sound with a neutral character. Thus, headphones can be equally useful in mixing, mastering, sound recording, audio restoration and any other work with sound. This model is also appreciated by music lovers and audiophiles who prefer natural sound without the additional timbre color inherent in ordinary everyday headphones.
The ear pads and headband cover are filled with memory foam, and the headphones weigh only 200 grams, so the design is not particularly felt on the head during operation. The headphones are equipped with a detachable three-meter braided cable with a one-way supply and a 3.5 mm jack. They also come with a 6.3mm adapter so they can be easily plugged into a synthesizer, mixer, PC sound card or drum machine.
