The most affordable gadget in the Apple tablet lineup is capable of meeting the user's basic needs while significantly saving their budget at the time of purchase. Since it is an inexpensive entry-level device, it is often chosen for education, although it is undoubtedly also suitable for work. The 2021 model has completely retained the design of its predecessor: a solid aluminum body, weighing just under 500 g, relatively thick bezels around the screen, and the traditional round Home button with a fingerprint scanner.
The front panel features a 10.2-inch Retina IPS display with TrueTone technology, which automatically adjusts screen brightness depending on ambient lighting. But the key changes happened internally. The Apple iPad 2021 received the A13 Bionic chip, which is familiar from the 2019 iPhone 11 family. The manufacturer promises a 20% increase in graphics processor performance—users should notice this in games with complex graphics.
Additionally, the built-in memory in the base version has increased to 64 GB. The front camera of the device has also been updated: it is a 12 MP ultra-wide lens with a 122-degree field of view, inheriting the Central Stage function from the iPad Pro, which is automatic focusing on a person in the frame. Also noteworthy is the 12 MP main camera, the iPadOS operating system, and support for the Apple Pencil stylus and Smart Keyboard magnetic keyboard (accessories sold separately).

The perfect tablet for its money! I've been using it for three years, and the tablet still pleases me. I draw with the Apple Pencil, and even though the screen is not laminated, it's perfect for sketches, notes, and quick ideas. I watch YouTube and Netflix; the screen is high-quality, the colors are pleasant, and the sound is loud and immersive. The battery holds up well – it easily lasts a whole day of viewing or work. I also like the camera – it's convenient for video calls, especially when the phone battery is running low. The A13 Bionic processor still runs apps without any lag, and I think it will serve for a very long time. The tablet has saved me during travels and even at home when there was no TV. I liked the model for its concise design, beautiful screen and power. The battery lasts great, I work from it at home all the time, in my free time I watch movies and listen to music, it works flawlessly. I connected the stylus and draw, it is not necessary to have the original. There is enough memory for current issues, since I do not store data on the device. It is convenient to take on the road, it works quickly, for studying and working it is the best option, in my opinion, although it is not the newest model. Sometimes I use it as an e-book. I had this Dell on Windows and this one is much more convenient to work with. I recently purchased this model for work on vacation and at home. Quite convenient, compact with a large screen and good functionality, works quickly, I open several applications and browser pages at the same time and it flies. It also came in handy for creative tasks, they gave me a pen (not the original) and it works great for drawing. It is convenient to watch movies somewhere on the go.
