Compatible only(!) with the following models (as of 02/16/21): iPad Pro 12.9" (3 gen, 4 gen), iPad Pro 11 (1 gen, 2 gen), iPad Air (4 gen)
The second generation of Apple's stylus has the same high accuracy and speed as the first generation. The main innovation of the updated model is a flat edge with a magnet with which the "pencil" is now attached to the iPad's body, increasing the convenience of storage and transportation, in addition, the model has wireless charging and the moment you magnetize it to the right side of the tablet, it starts charging. Also in the Apple Pencil 2 there was a touch area for quickly switching between tools without looking up from the creative process. An unpleasant surprise will be that the 2nd generation stylus cannot be used with older iPad models, it will work with tablets from iPad Pro 11" and 12.9" (2018) models.

The Apple Pencil 2 is a highly regarded stylus for iPad users, praised for its comfortable grip and secure magnetic attachment to compatible iPad models, where it also charges. Users appreciate its quick charging time and the ability to convert handwritten notes into text, making it an indispensable tool for note-taking and drawing. fits comfortably in the hand; securely attaches with a magnet to the tablet, where it is charged; price |
Almost an ideal stylus for iPad, perfect for drawing and handwriting in notes. It responds instantly, precisely translates pressure and tilt, and charging via magnet is one of the most convenient implementations on the market. However, the price is a bit too high. * High accuracy and minimal latency; * Magnetic charging and storage on iPad Pro. * High cost for a small piece of white plastic. |
I've been using it for almost two years, and I have no problems. The battery life is very acceptable, approximately 4.5 - 5 hours of continuous use. It charges in 15 minutes, and you can draw for the same amount of time again. It has survived several falls from my desk onto the parquet. Well, titanium, don't try this at home. Everything is fine |

Thanks to the Apple Pencil, you can easily convert handwritten notes into text, and the search function can scan both textual and handwritten notes. PDF annotation, file, text, photo, GIF, and web page drag-and-drop support optimizes working with text, allowing you to spend less time on operational tasks.
For drawing enthusiasts, the pencil becomes a powerful tool for creating sketches with custom colors, and if you're a pro at it, it will be a great assistant for creating real paintings :)
