A rack-mounted data storage server designed for small and medium businesses. Positioned by the manufacturer as the optimal solution for companies that need a compact and powerful device that provides data storage, backup and uninterrupted operation of critical services. The model belongs to the mounting format and, thanks to the depth of only 30 cm, it easily fits into shelves with limited space.
The server is equipped with a quad-core AMD Ryzen V1500B processor with a frequency of 2.2 GHz and 4 GB of RAM, which can be expanded to 32 GB if necessary. It allows you to connect up to 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives with hot swapping and support for the most common RAID configurations. Four gigabit LAN ports with aggregation function provide load balancing and network fault tolerance.
Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports are provided for connecting peripheral devices. Additionally, the NAS is equipped with a backup power supply, preventing interruptions in operation during power failures. RS1221+ runs on the DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system with a user-friendly web interface and extensive functionality. Users can manage files, set up backups and restore data thanks to integrated applications and support for virtualization technologies. DSM also includes tools for creating hybrid cloud storage, ensuring maximum security of stored data and convenient remote administration capabilities.
