According to the manufacturer, its shortened depth is optimal for installation in small media cabinets and places with dense cabling. TS-435XeU supports container applications, cloud gateways, file synchronization and video surveillance. The system is flexibly expanded by connecting modules, allowing it to adapt to growing data volumes.

For additional data protection, QNAP has added support for SMB signature, which prevents file interception. The server also supports network protocols and virtualization, making it a versatile and secure tool for business tasks.
