Synology RackStation RS422+

A mid-range NAS server for storing and sharing data, designed for small and medium businesses. The system is based on a dual-core AMD Ryzen R1600 processor with a maximum clock frequency of 3.1 GHz and support for multi-threaded data processing. The RAM is 2 GB and does not support expansion. The NAS server shell is the proprietary Synology DiskStation Manager solution with a user-friendly web interface and extensive remote management capabilities, including monitoring, rebooting and restoring the system.

Built-in backup tools support data protection from various devices, including PCs, physical servers, virtual machines and cloud services. A pair of gigabit LAN ports and an additional USB 3.2 Gen 1 port are used to connect to the network for connecting peripheral devices and external drives designed for backup or expanding the server's functionality. Synology RackStation RS422+ is equipped with four slots for 3.5-inch hot-swappable drives. Support for various RAID configurations (RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, F1, JBOD and Basic) provides flexibility in setting up data protection. An additional PCIe slot expands the functionality of the device, allowing you to connect additional drives, wireless communication modules or modules for upgrading the network to 10GbE RJ-45.
