Exfoliating

— cosmetic products that provide an exfoliating effect — the removal of dead cells and various impurities from the surface of the skin.

A typical example of such products are various peels and scrubs. For more information about both, see "Type", and here we note that exfoliation promotes skin renewal and rejuvenation, and also improves the absorption of various additional products (nutritious, moisturizing, etc.).
