The human skin has its own "defense systems" that allow it to resist bacteria that land on the surface quite effectively. However, it happens that the effectiveness of such protection is not enough. Sensitive, problematic and irritated skin is especially vulnerable in this sense. Antibacterial agents are designed to remedy the situation: they, in accordance with the name, provide additional protection against harmful microorganisms. At the same time, many of these compounds not only destroy unwanted bacteria, but also contribute to the restoration and strengthening of the natural protection of the skin.
