Peeling

— peeling is a procedure for deep cleaning of the skin, as well as means for such cleaning. By appointment, such products are similar to scrubs (see the relevant paragraph), but they have not so much a mechanical as a chemical effect on the skin. So, peels based on fruit acids are quite popular.

Compositions of this type cleanse the skin more deeply and thoroughly, contribute to the renewal of its upper layer and general rejuvenation, however, peelings do not cope well with rough skin, dense dirt, etc. Therefore, ideally, it is recommended to combine such a tool with a scrub — first do a preliminary “rough” cleaning, and only then apply peeling.

Note that many peels contain rather aggressive substances (like the same fruit acids). Therefore, when using such funds, precautions must be taken. So, before using an “unfamiliar” peeling, you need to try it on the crook of your elbow and make sure that the product does not cause irritation, and when used on the face, you need to make sure that the product does not get into your eyes.
