Reception

— furniture used for the reception — the reception area of the office space, usually located immediately after the entrance. It is in this zone that the visitor who enters the office first of all gets, where he is met by the corresponding employee, usually a secretary or concierge. Such an employee is usually located behind a special counter, which has a two-level design: on the visitor’s side there is a high counter itself, on which you can lean while standing, on the inside there is a table top, which is convenient to work on while sitting. Speaking of furniture for the reception, most often they mean exactly the racks. However, sometimes other varieties are also referred to this type — in particular, some tables are initially positioned as products for the reception.
