— an interior element in the form of a thin partition, which is light in weight and designed for the possibility of frequent movement from place to place. Most of these partitions are made folding, which also simplifies storage after hours.

The screen allows you to divide the space in the room — for example, to separate the kitchen from the living area in a studio apartment or the bath from the toilet in a combined bathroom. Classical screens are opaque — this allows, for example, to organize a place for changing clothes. At the same time, carved openwork partitions, playing a more symbolic, decorative role, became widespread.
